TEDI

TEDI is a hybrid board game for kids, combining physical gameplay with a dynamic tablet at its center. The tablet delivers adaptive questions and challenges, creating a personalized and ever-changing experience that adjusts to each player’s level and pace.
I worked on the project as a concept artist and animator, shaping the visual language and animated feedback that bring the experience to life.

By studio Rimon

A key challenge in TEDI’s board design was creating a layout that feels engaging and accessible from every angle-no matter where a child sits. This required careful perspective planning to ensure equal visibility and connection for all players.
We also embedded a light narrative and visual Easter eggs throughout the board to enhance immersion and tie into the game’s overall aesthetic.

Avatar System

TEDI’s avatars were designed as animals to encourage identification through personality traits rather than limited human features. This approach gives kids the freedom to express themselves beyond appearance.
To create an inclusive environment, we incorporated diverse disabilities in empowering ways-bionic arms, high-tech wheelchairs, and other elements that celebrate difference through playful, cool design.
